Most of your coworkers would laugh because it\'s in an online Second Life game. But it\'s still an island and you want the best for your avatar, right? You can make money on the island by selling it and that is reason enough to boast to your coworkers.

Sure, you cannot take a vacation and sun on the beach, but your second life avatar can live right on ocean front property. The real estate Second Life offers is pretty diverse. You can purchase the land from Linden or you can go to auction companies such as Ebay and buy the land from other community members who are wishing to sell. Some will rent out parcels of their property, but you will still have to pay fees.
