The Map

To meet other people and view forthcoming events, the map is the right tool to use. By clicking on the green dots you can retrieve all of the information that is shown on the web map.

The Search Menu

The search menu is used to know more about an event that you saw on the web map. After you have searched and read the description of the event, if you like it, you can simply teleport to event’s venue.

Other People

After you have arrived to the event, view profiles of other people by right-clicking on their avatars. This way you will know more about the people that you meet in Second Life.

On your first hour of joining, several Residents will approach and introduce themselves to you. This is because long-time Second Life users are always excited to welcome new Residents. In the lively society of Second Life it is very easy to search for people that you will get along with. After you have met the people that you like, communicating and staying in touch with them will be very easy.

There are a lot of events to go to in Second Life. You can go to parties, art exhibits, fashions shows and concerts. In addition, Residents also form different groups, associations or clubs. Such organizations range from followers of Sci-Fi Films, automobile enthusiasts, toy collectors, homemakers etc.
