After a memorable victory by the San Francisco Giants to win their first ever World Series championship in San Francisco, baseball fans are crazy about the upcoming season. While the Giants have a harrowing road ahead of them, since no National League team has repeated a World Series title since the Cincinnati Reds accomplished that feat in 1975-76, the combo of pitchers Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum may prove difficult to beat. Other teams are hoping on making a run for it though and analysts have noted the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox, who both boosted their roster in the offseason, as teams to watch out for this year.
